Meet High Horse Creative
Learn the tools. Grow your brand. Stay in control.
High Horse Creative was built to support small teams doing meaningful, high-stakes work.
What started in the equestrian world has grown to include nonprofits and mission-driven organizations that operate with limited capacity, real responsibility, and very little room for inefficiency. The industries may look different on the surface, but the reality is often the same: small teams, big expectations, and a need for systems and support that actually hold up.
High Horse Creative exists to help those teams grow, organize, and show up with confidence, without losing control of their work or their budgets.
Our Mission
At High Horse Creative, we understand what it’s like to run an operation where everyone wears multiple hats and there’s no extra time to figure things out the hard way.
In the equestrian world, many barn owners, trainers, and lesson programs put off building a website or formal marketing because it feels overwhelming, unnecessary, or out of reach. In nonprofits, the challenge often looks similar. Important work is happening, but systems, visibility, and outreach lag behind because there simply isn’t enough capacity.
Our mission is to provide practical, affordable branding, marketing, and consulting support that helps small teams grow in a way that feels sustainable and manageable.
Just as important, we focus on teaching. We don’t want to simply do the work for you. We want to show you how to manage it yourself, using the tools and systems already available to you, so you can stay confident and in control long after our work together ends.
When parents search for activities for their children, when donors look for organizations to support, or when communities look for programs that matter, we want equestrian businesses and nonprofits to be visible, accessible, and easy to understand. Strong systems and clear communication help make that possible.
High Horse Creative was founded by Lyndsey Gruber, a lifelong equestrian with a background spanning equestrian businesses, nonprofits, startups, and small organizations.
As a child, Lyndsey emailed nearly every riding program in Kansas City looking for a barn that would let her work off her riding lessons. As an adult, she has built and run successful lesson programs in multiple parts of the country and worked in roles ranging from riding instructor and business manager to PR coordinator and saddle fitter. That experience provided a firsthand understanding of what it takes to build a program from the ground up and keep it running day to day.
Beyond the equestrian world, Lyndsey has worked as a startup founder, nonprofit professional, fundraiser, and events manager. Those roles sharpened her skills in branding, marketing, operations, and growth, and reinforced how similar the challenges are across small teams, regardless of industry.
Through High Horse Creative, Lyndsey brings those experiences together to support equestrian businesses and nonprofits with practical guidance, hands-on help, and systems that make work easier to manage. The goal is always the same: clearer direction, stronger foundations, and support that fits the reality of small teams doing important work.
